Bryant Welcomes New Director of Admission

Bryant University is pleased to welcome Michelle L. Beauregard '05 MBA, as the new Director of Admission.

Most recently, Beauregard was the Director of Freshman Admission at Roger Williams University in Bristol. She started at RWU in 2000 as an entry-level admission counselor until she was promoted to her most recent position in July 2004.

Her career in admission began at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Penn in 1998 where she served as an Admissions Officer.

Beauregard is not new to Bryant. She earned her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing last May. When the opportunity arose to advance her professional career at Bryant, she embraced the opportunity.

"It was important that I work for an institution I believe in and certainly Bryant has a lot of momentum going forward," she said.

Continued growth at Bryant was evident during her time as a student as the University enhanced its liberal arts program and formed the U.S. - China institute to provide practical experience in international business.

"In my time as a graduate student, I really liked what I saw," she said.

Beauregard previously worked with the admission staff at Bryant in her role as president of the Rhode Island Association of Admission Officers (RIAAO).

Lorna Hunter, Vice President of Enrollment Management, said Beauregard's background at a private university and her connections with professional organizations and high schools in the state made her a perfect choice for the job. "She is very well thought of in the Rhode Island guidance community," she said.
