Kindle has served since 2014 as executive director of student financial services at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Santa Clara University announced the appointment of Nancy Merz as Dean of University Financial Aid Services. She will succeed Richard Toomey, who retired from his role as dean after 40 years in the position. Merz comes to SCU from Loyola University Chicago, where she served as director of financial aid, and brings 15 years of experience in financial aid services.
Daniel López Jr. has been hired as Northeastern Illinois University’s next Vice President for Student Affairs.
López, who currently serves as associate vice president for Student Affairs, has more than 20 years of demonstrated success in higher education administration in both academic and student support services. His appointment will take effect on Jan. 1, 2016.
